Any information that is divulged on the visitor’s part through the website’s contact form, or through any other method such as email or text message is collected.  For instance, if contacting through the website’s contact form for any reason, compulsory fields will include your name, email address and phone number, and will also include any other information you choose to volunteer.

WGSM does not store any banking information from its visitors, even when the visitor purchases items from the website including online workshops and gift vouchers, as this is achieved through a third-party PayPal service.  However, please be aware that WGSM does not moderate how third-party services such as PayPal implement their own data protection policies, therefore any queries regarding this should be directed to the third-party in question directly.

Information gathered via cookies will be used for the purposes as laid out in the section above.  Also, any information voluntarily submitted by the user via the contact form or any other contact method laid out on this website may be used for the following purposes:

• To complete transactions e.g. when sending URL links via email to the customer to download online workshop videos, or recording a customer’s home address in order to send them paper copy of a gift voucher

• To gather feedback on services such as following on from treatments

• For promotional purposes to notify the user of other products and services offered by WGSM

 

WGSM does not pass on any user’s personal information to any third parties without the consent of the user.

 

How is my information stored?

This website is hosted via a Wix.com platform.  Data that is submitted through the contact form, via transactions, and though cookies may be stored through Wix.com’s data storage, databases and the general Wix.com applications.  However, this is done securely via use of their firewall.   Information submitted by the user to WGSM via the contact form may be stored on Wix.com servers, and a copy of correspondence from this submission will be sent to WGSM’s email address.

 

How long will my data be stored for?

Data from Wix.com cookies have a variety of durations, many last only for the duration of the browsing session, and some last for longer e.g. up to 2 years.  Information submitted via the contact form, or any other platform of communication such as email will be stored for as long as keeping a channel of communication open is deemed reasonable.

 

How do I offer or withdraw my consent?

When first visiting the site, you will be given the opportunity to consent to the website’s use of cookies.  As mentioned above, it is recommended that you accept this notification, but you do not have to.  For any information submitted by the user to WGSM via the website’s contact form or through any other method of communication listed on the website, it will be assumed that by doing this, the user is giving consent and is comfortable for WGSM to have access to the data they have divulged, as this is clearly reasonably required in order for WGSM to reasonably respond to enquiries.
